Health and Visa

There is no requirement for U.K. passport holders to apply for a visa prior to entry into the Maldives.

A visa is required for registration but you will be asked to fill out this form during your flight for production at Male airport.

There is no cost for this but there is a Maldivian departure tax equivalent to about £8. However, this is normally included in your overall holiday cost unless advised otherwise.

With regard to Health you are visiting a tropical climate and although the country is very health and hygiene conscious you should always seek the most up to date information from your G.P. or Pharmacist at the earliest opportunity.
